The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join our team in the Micro Biology department of Naas General Hospital.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Monitor consumables and reagent stock supplies associated with the section.\
  • Participate in laboratory meetings, particularly about assessment of performance, development of the service, and organisational changes.\
  • Contribute to effective communication within the department.\
  • Maintain and improve analytical quality in the department by participating in and facilitating Quality Assurance and Audits.\
  • Responsible for 35 hours per week.\

    • Essential Qualifications:\
    • Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Medical Scientists Register maintained by the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU.\
    • Permission to work in Ireland.\
    • A professional approach to work.\
    • Flexibility in work practice.\
