Key Sales Engineering Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious junior sales engineer to fill a crucial role in our organization. As a key member of the sales engineering team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including hands-on engineering and client-focused commercial activities.

The main goal is to achieve success in client management by reviewing customer project specifications and technical requirements, working with operations and engineering teams to manage production timelines, calculating design specifications and preparing client-focused pricing and tender quotations, problem-solving and assisting on audits, and acting as a key point of contact for client queries.

Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Hold a 3rd-level degree in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, process or similar)
  • Have 1-2+ years' experience in an engineering or technical sales/account management role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver on sales projects
