Project Supervisor Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Supervisor to oversee daily operations on a medium-sized construction project in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and the building programme
  • Maintain site safety and enforce health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized site and manage site logistics effectively
  • Report progress, issues, and delays to Senior Management as required
  • Maintain site H&S file and liaise with external safety auditor
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure highest standards of workmanship
  • Order materials as required and keep accurate records of site activities and deliveries

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years experience in a supervisory role on various construction sites/projects
  • Trade background preferred (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, etc.)
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership and team coordination skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in using basic IT systems for reporting and record-keeping
