We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner based in Carlow. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable facilities management company.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to meet the required standards. This includes weekly and periodic tasks, using cleaning chemicals safely, and maintaining full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and agents.

You will also be accountable for reporting any faulty equipment, maintaining safety signage, and keeping cleaning stores organized and tidy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently clean all areas within designated time frames
  • Use cleaning chemicals correctly and safely
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and agents
  • Report any malfunctioning equipment
  • Ensure safety signage is maintained
  • Keep cleaning stores organized and clutter-free
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in EU/EEA
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Fundamental statutory training for the role, including basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
