CNC Machinist Professional

Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and verifying CNC programs and products, working to high levels of precision, and communicating effectively with colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in CNC Programming/Machinery, knowledge and understanding of 2D & 3D Modelling using Hypermill, and strong understanding of 3-5 axis machines.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining machines/equipment in correct working order and providing analysis on existing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and verify CNC programs and products
• Able to work to high levels of precision
• Program complex 5-axis parts using Hypermill
• Communicate effectively with all other work colleagues who will be using the programs
• Carry out and follow all Health & Safety legislations
• Provide analysis on all existing programs and document relevant information required
• Undertake routine checks to maintain machines/equipment in correct working order and provide any detail malfunctions or deviations to a team leader or production supervisor
• Choose the correct cutting tools needed and determine stock machining sizes required depending on machine strategy

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience within CNC Programming/Machinery
• Knowledge and understanding of 2D & 3D Modelling using Hypermill
• Strong understanding of 3-5 axis machines
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Good problem-solving skills
• Positive and proactive approach to work
• Ability to handle workload and use own initiative
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication
