Veterinary Surgeon Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice. This role offers clinical variety, a supportive team environment, and a strong work-life balance without compromising on career progression or earning potential.

  • 80% Small Animal – routine consults, general surgery, diagnostics, and emergency care
  • 20% Large Animal – mainly farm animal calls including calvings and surgeries
The Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Have at least 2 years' post qualification experience in mixed practice
  • Small Animal: Be confident in first opinion, routine practice
  • Large Animal: Be proficient in calvings, sections, and general farm calls
