Fabricating a strong foundation for success in the field of precast concrete solutions is key to our company’s continued growth and development. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Fabricator to join our facilities and maintenance team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing welding and steel fabrication work, as well as repairing and maintaining equipment and plant. Additionally, they will be expected to complete fabrication end-to-end and provide mechanical maintenance support to the operation of the manufacturing process and utility systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Completion of welding and steel fabrication work
  • Repair and maintenance of equipment and plant
  • Complete fabrication end-to-end
  • Provide mechanical maintenance support to the operation of the manufacturing process and utility systems
  • Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance routines
  • Plan and participate in coordination of project work and planned shutdowns
  • Support production team in achieving targets
  • Follow all health and safety rules and regulations on site

Requirements:

  • Ability to MIG and ARC weld essential
  • Steel fabrication knowledge and ability
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform iron works
  • Ability to operate a range of tools and machinery
  • Ability to read detailed drawings
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Keen attention to detail and quality driven
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Team player
