Healthy Living Instructor Opportunity

Are you passionate about health and wellness? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Healthy Living Instructor to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Healthy Living Instructor, you will be an integral part of a team that delivers exceptional customer care and ensures our guests enjoy a first-class experience. You will support members in reaching their fitness goals through personalized assessments, engaging classes, and expert advice – all while maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fitness assessments and create personalized programming for members.
  • Instruct members on correct equipment use and supervise the gym floor.
  • Deliver a range of fitness classes including aerobic, toning, circuit training, and spinning.
  • Keep accurate records and monitor member progress.

Reception & Customer Service:

  • Welcome guests and members with a smile.
  • Answer queries in person and by phone.
  • Process memberships and payments using point-of-sale systems.

Club Operations:

  • Maintain cleanliness across all areas of the club.
  • Perform plant room checks and pool testing.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety standards are met.
  • Assist in general administration and report maintenance issues.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in Fitness Instruction and Group Exercise (REPs or equivalent).
  • Passionate about health and wellness.
  • Energetic, professional, and approachable.
  • Comfortable working with a team and independently.
  • Willingsness to learn and upskill (e.g., pool plant operations, new fitness classes).
