About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EHS professional to join our team as a Lead EHS Advisor. As a member of our leadership team, you'll play a critical role in driving our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture forward by implementing effective measures to reduce risks and promote a positive working environment.

You will work closely with our Site Managers to ensure that all employees and sub-contractors are fully compliant with Health, Safety & Workplace legislation. Your ability to communicate complex HSE concepts in a clear and concise manner will enable you to translate HSE compliance standards into actionable plans for our teams.

In this role, you'll also conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. You'll maintain accurate records of accidents and near-miss incidents, providing valuable insights to inform our safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risks and promote a positive working environment.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  3. Ensure all employees and sub-contractors are trained on HSE procedures and protocols.
  4. Maintain accurate records of accidents and near-miss incidents.
  5. Collaborate with Site Managers to develop and implement effective safety plans.
  6. Develop and manage risk assessments and method statements.
  7. Act as a company representative during outside Agency Audits/Inspections with regards to Health and Safety.
  8. Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and protocols.
  9. Support the development of HSE policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
