Job Overview:

We are seeking a VAT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, applicable extensions, and tax estimates.

The role involves assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and related financial reporting tax components, as well as participating in tax planning, tax audits, and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate reports of EMEA region VAT filings and reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with finance, business stakeholders, and invoicing systems teams to provide guidance on VAT issues.
  • Communicate effectively with external auditors and advisors.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects.
  • Plan, manage, and prioritize work efficiently to meet multiple objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Big-4 firm or multinational company with VAT compliance responsibilities.
  • Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant designations preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, and Oracle beneficial.
