Job Title: Procurement Engineer

This role involves working closely with our engineering teams to drive efficient procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Main Accountabilities:
  • You will facilitate early supplier involvement (ESI) to leverage supplier innovation and adopt Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) principles.
  • You will manage RFx competitions to find the most cost-effective suppliers, aligned with our strategic commodity plans.
  • You will execute supplier changes to minimize risk, decrease costs, and boost performance while optimizing global part and supplier sourcing.
Your Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Science discipline (QQI level 8), or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in procurement or technical roles, preferably in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards in ESI, DfMA, DtC, VE, and Engineering Change Management.
  • Negotiation skills and commercial acumen to engage effectively with suppliers.
