Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description:

  • Responsible for overseeing and leading the completion of several centralised processes and procedures.
  • Guide other team members in the completion of these processes.
  • Daily accounting, administration and oversight to support the financial accounts production process.
  • Production of monthly management accounts for a number of legal entities.
  • Manage the preparation of reconciliations and ensure all documentation and accounting is completed in line with corporate requirements and policies.
  • Produce month end analytics and trend data to assist with the review and validation of financial results.
  • Completion of annual statutory financial statements for a number of legal entities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (preferable ACA / ACCA) with several years post qualified experience in a multi-currency financial services environment.
  • Experienced background in a corporate financial control environment with a sound knowledge of accounting, reporting and financial control requirements as well as statutory and audit requirements.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in the region and as part of the broader finance team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to assess issues, identify solutions and problem solve.

Skills / Qualifications:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the completion of several centralised processes and procedures. You will guide other team members in the completion of these processes, ensuring daily accounting, administration and oversight to support the financial accounts production process.

You will also produce monthly management accounts for a number of legal entities, manage the preparation of reconciliations and ensure all documentation and accounting is completed in line with corporate requirements and policies.

Additionally, you will produce month end analytics and trend data to assist with the review and validation of financial results and complete annual statutory financial statements for a number of legal entities.

As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team in the region and as part of the broader finance team, utilizing your strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.

With several years of post-qualified experience in a multi-currency financial services environment, you will possess a sound knowledge of accounting, reporting and financial control requirements as well as statutory and audit requirements.

As a highly numerate individual with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, you will be able to assess issues, identify solutions and problem solve effectively.
