Senior Financial Operations Manager

Our organization seeks a seasoned leader to head its finance operations. As the Head of Finance Operations, you will oversee all aspects of financial processing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Responsibilities:- You will lead oversight of core finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll & pensions, client accounts, banking, taxation, and systems administration.
- A critical aspect of this role is timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Management of banking activities, including weekly cash flow forecasting and maintaining bank facility limits, is also a key responsibility.
- Strengthening internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements is vital to your success in this position.
- You will support statutory, tax, and audit compliance, working closely with external auditors and regulators.
- Drive automation, process improvements, and finance transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- This role requires 10-15 years' post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership position.
- A strong background in finance operations, shared services, and process transformation is essential.
- Proven ability to deliver systems improvements and manage ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) is necessary.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and mentoring skills are required, along with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, compliance frameworks, and regulatory obligations is crucial to your success in this role.
