About the Role

The Accommodation Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Accommodation department, ensuring exceptional guest care and comfort are delivered. This involves coordinating daily activities, managing budgets, forecasting, and operating costs within the department.

To achieve this goal, the successful candidate will lead a high-performance team by training, grooming, and mentoring staff to meet high standards in customer service, room etiquette, and overall hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the efficient running of the Accommodation department.
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and operating costs within the accommodation department.
  • Leading and motivating the team to achieve high performance and customer service standards.
  • Ensuring procedures, SOPs, and systems are in place across the Accommodation department.
  • Conducting daily inspections and coordinating work schedules in all areas.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in managing a hotel Accommodation department.
  • Working knowledge of Opera cloud PMS or equivalent.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills.
  • Experience with report writing, emailing, compiling rosters, and basic payroll administration.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent Grooming and Presentation.
