Salary:

The salary for this role ranges from €62,274 to €98,223 per annum, pro rata.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated psychologist to provide a range of psychological services to children 0 – 18 years on the Early Years / School Age Team and their families who attend the Cavan Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT).

You will join a team of psychologists working as part of an interdisciplinary team, with a strong focus on intervention within the team.

Regular clinical supervision from a Senior Psychologist is also available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a range of psychological services to children 0 – 18 years
  • To work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage
  • To support other staff and students as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a university degree or diploma in psychology, obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours.

You must also hold an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.

Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for.

A valid driver's licence with access to own transport is required to deliver services across a large geographical area.

Experience of working with children and/or adolescents and their families with one or more of a range of disabilities is also essential.
