Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist

 

This is a highly motivated and safety-conscious role for an individual with mechanical or electrical background. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on a 24/7 production site, dealing with shift teams, and working in a team atmosphere.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all utilities equipment is available at all times and respond to any alarms or deviations promptly.
  • Maintain and repair equipment as needed, including pumps, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, steam systems, and ancillary services.
  • Liaise with subcontractors during planned service maintenance and ensure that all work permits are reviewed and signed by relevant personnel.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory rules and guidelines.

 

Requirements:
  • Senior Trades qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience post-qualification in industrial utilities, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
  • Good initiative and proactive attitude towards duties, with ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to accurately document work performed.
  • Computer literate and able to work within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.

 

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
