Job Title

We are seeking a Research Impact Manager to join our team. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving the success of our organization.

  • Job Description:
  • The Research Impact Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize the impact of our research initiatives.
  • This includes identifying opportunities to support research teams, designing and delivering initiatives to enhance the impact of their research, and assessing the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong track record of experience in translational research, research commercialization, entrepreneurship, or a related impact area.
  • They will also have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpretive skills, with the ability to think strategically and use sound judgment on complex issues.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement ways to support research teams in new ways to maximize the translation of research and solutions to society.
  • Design, develop and deliver initiatives and interventions to facilitate Challenge Teams enhancing the impact of their research.
  • Assess the effectiveness of impact initiatives and implement plans for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to broader organisational goals by identifying opportunities to collaborate, synergise, and support other teams with research impact and commercialisation.
  • Requirements:
  • A third-level qualification (PhD, MBA, Masters) in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in translational research, research commercialisation, entrepreneurship, or a related impact area.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing impact strategies within a relevant sector, such as research or technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at a strategic level yet also drive daily execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a confident, logical, and convincing manner.
