Design Engineer - Transportation Expert

This is a challenging role for a skilled design engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of transportation projects across Ireland and the UK.

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in civil engineering, transportation planning, and design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transport infrastructure, including roads, railways, and public transport systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing transportation solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of transportation projects, including feasibility studies, concept designs, and detailed designs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in civil engineering or transportation planning.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
