Job Description

Hobson Prior is seeking a Bioprocessing Expert to join our team for a 15-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of the scientific team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of biotechnology manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guide and mentor team members to meet training and development goals.
  2. Ensure compliance with quality standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and accurate documentation.
  3. Complete required training and ensure tasks are performed in full compliance with regulations.
  4. Manage and finalize key manufacturing documents, such as CAPAs, change controls, and batch records, efficiently and accurately.
  5. Perform manufacturing tasks across various processes while adhering to GMP standards.
  6. Identify and report issues or risks, and guide others in resolving them effectively.
  7. Lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, and workflow efficiency.
  8. Work in cleanroom environments to maintain sterile conditions and low contamination levels.
  9. Conduct routine monitoring and cleaning of facilities, materials, and equipment.
