Thin Film Polymer Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Polymer Component Development Engineer to join our team and specialize in the development and optimization of thin film polymer components.

This role involves creating and processing thin polymer films, particularly biocompatible elastomers, and developing test methods and protocols for design verification testing of the polymer component.

  • Create and process thin polymer films, particularly biocompatible elastomers.
  • Develop test methods and protocols for design verification testing of the polymer component.
  • Work closely with counterparts responsible for catheter development and device characterization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge and experience in the development of cardiovascular devices and a strong understanding of medical device GMP and compliance to ISO 13485.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A primary degree or Master's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as polymer, mechanical, biomaterials, or biomedical engineering.
  • Experience in equipment specification, design, and qualification.
  • Competency in Solidworks or equivalent 3D CAD system.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
