Job Description

This prestigious fellowship offers comprehensive, hands-on experience in the perioperative management of liver transplant patients.

Candidates will work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, gaining expertise in:

  • Advanced anaesthetic management for liver transplantation and complex hepatobiliary surgery;
  • Haemodynamic monitoring and coagulation management in high-risk patients;
  • Critical care of liver failure and transplant patients;
  • Cutting-edge regional anaesthesia and enhanced recovery protocols;
  • Participation in clinical research and education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We welcome applications from Anaesthetists who have completed or are in the advanced stage of their training in Anaesthesia.

Candidates should have:

  • Significant experience in Ireland or another equivalent training program country;
  • A strong interest in transplant, hepatobiliary, and major surgical anaesthesia;
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council.
