Property Solicitor Job Description

We are working with a leading Irish law firm to recruit a Property Solicitor for their expanding Energy & Natural Resources team. This is a unique opportunity for a solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to advance their career in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector, advising on some of the country's largest wind and solar projects from start to finish.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate wind farm and solar farm options and leases
  • Investigate agricultural land titles, including burdens and rights affecting ownership
  • Conduct property due diligence on renewable energy projects for banks, investors and purchasers
  • Draft and negotiate rights of way, over-sail agreements, wayleaves and statutory wayleaves under the Electricity Regulation Act
  • Advise clients through all stages of renewable energy projects, ensuring practical, cost-effective, solutions-focused legal support

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Irish qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in property law and conveyancing
  • Experience with agricultural land transactions
  • Knowledge of property aspects of renewable projects is an advantage but not essential (training provided)
  • Strong organisational and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercial mindset with a solutions-driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
