Job Description

This role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young adults, 0-18 years, and their families. You will be employed by the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland and be responsible for assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions in line with national service provision models.

You will work under the guidance of a Children's Disability Network Manager and receive clinical supervision from the Head of Discipline.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Statutory Registration: Be registered or eligible for registration as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Board at CORU
  • Candidate Requirements: Possess a high standard of suitability and professional ability, ideally with experience in Intellectual Disability, Physical Disability, or Autism
  • Annual Registration: Maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapist Registration Board at CORU
  • Health: Be fully competent and capable of undertaking duties and in good physical and mental health
  • Age: Meet the compulsory retirement age requirements
  • Character: Be of good character
  • Driving License: Possess a full clean driving license
