We are seeking an accomplished Senior Researcher to spearhead the development of cutting-edge medical devices.
About The RoleThis is a pivotal position in our vascular innovation team, where you will lead the design and development of novel Class III medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Device Development: Design, develop, and optimise encapsulated stent systems and advanced delivery mechanisms.
- Team Leadership: Foster innovation and collaboration among engineers, driving project success.
- Technical Expertise: Address technical challenges in design, material selection, and manufacturing, ensuring high-quality solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to drive projects from concept to commercialisation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet regulatory standards for Class III medical devices.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and product performance.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing Class III medical devices, preferably in the vascular space.
- Specialised Skills:
- Strong knowledge of stent systems, stent grafts, and delivery systems.
- Proficiency in shaping, forming, and encapsulating coverings onto stents.
