Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for data centre operations, including infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and priorities, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the Engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all data centre operations, including maintenance schedules, incident reports, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in data centre engineering and operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading multiple projects concurrently.
