Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Galway City Centre. As a key member of the practice, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various industries including hotels, charities, construction, schools, and retail services.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients to manage workflow and coordinate jobs
- Carrying out audits on SME cases, including planning, materiality, field work, and final reporting
- Preparing accounts from client records, including adjustments and recommendations for changes
- Preparing tax computations and returns for ROS filing, including corporation and personal taxes
You will have a fully or part-qualified accountant with audit experience, strong MS Suite skills, and experience using various client software booking keeping systems such as TAS, Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage. You will also be comfortable with disclosures for FRS 102 financial statements and CRO filings.
Key requirements include:
- Fully or part-qualified accountant with audit experience
- Strong MS Suite skills
- Experience using various client software booking keeping systems
- Excellent prioritisation skills to understand various client deadlines
This is a permanent role working 5 days a week onsite with adhoc flexibility to work from home. The ideal candidate will have a normal work life balance and be willing to work during tax deadline season.
