About the Role

This is a permanent position with the opportunity for progression and development within a growing company. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our CNC Turning Department as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and manage load capacity to accommodate spike requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  2. Analyze part drawings and determine the appropriate machining processes, applying knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  3. Set up and program 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, including Doosan, Mori Seiki, Okuma, and/or Huron milling machines.
  4. Work to increase capacity when needed across all aspects of post-processing, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team and equipment.
  5. Apply structured problem-solving techniques to determine root causes and implement countermeasures, improving process flow and productivity.
  6. Establish and maintain effective training programs, documented procedures, visual work instructions, and individual employee schedules.
  7. Ensure health & safety responsibilities are met across all areas, supporting commercial activities in collaboration with the sales team.
  8. Manage all post-build processing and finishing activities, maintaining quality levels and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
