Cloud Application Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing cloud-based applications using modern architectural patterns and AWS services.

This role involves designing, developing, and re-engineering applications that fully leverage the AWS Cloud. You will work with various AWS services including Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Serverless Architectures, and Amazon Elastic Container Services to create robust, scalable applications.

  • Design and Develop Cloud-Native Applications: Use modern architectural patterns to design and develop cloud-native applications.
  • Implement Full-Stack Solutions: Implement full-stack solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
  • Architect Scalable Systems: Architect, design, and build scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in application development with experience on cloud platforms.
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (TypeScript, Java, C#, Go).
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and microservices.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices, GitOps, and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code tooling e.g CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform.
