The role of the Vehicle Service Expert involves overseeing customer servicing requirements, allocating work to technicians, and ensuring seamless communication with customers throughout the service process. As a key figure in the dealership's after-sales team, you will be responsible for creating appointments, greeting customers, and liaising with them regarding their vehicle's progress.
Responsibilities include preparing invoices that clearly outline procedures carried out and spare parts required. You will also handle phone bookings, manage the daily diary, and collaborate closely with the Spare Parts department to ensure timely delivery of necessary components.
Additionally, you will advise customers on technical updates and take responsibility for finalizing all documentation before compiling end-of-day reports. Your duties will also involve balancing day-end monies and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
