Teaching OpportunitiesWe are currently hiring adjunct professors to teach history courses at our institution. This is a great opportunity for individuals who wish to share their knowledge and passion with students.
- Applicants must possess one of the following:
- A master's degree or higher in history or a related field,
- A master's degree or higher with 18 semester hours (or equivalent) in history or a related field and/or 5 years of relevant work experience in education,
- A bachelor's degree in history or a related field and 7 years of relevant work experience in education.
Candidates must provide a current resume or CV, three professional references, and a copy of complete unofficial transcripts. Official transcripts will be required if hired.
The selected candidates will undergo a criminal background check and drug screen before beginning employment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for teaching history courses to students. You will also be required to develop lesson plans, assign homework, and evaluate student performance.
In addition to teaching, you may also be required to participate in department meetings, attend workshops, and engage in other professional development activities.
