Highly Skilled Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary function of this role is the inspection of raw materials, finished devices, packaged devices, sterilized devices, and device history records ensuring that inspection procedures are followed at all times and that all product and paperwork passes specified quality control requirements before shipping to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect Raw Materials: Ensure compliance with quality control specifications for raw materials received on site.
- Verify Finished Goods: Inspect packaged goods for meeting quality control specifications.
- Conduct Sterilization Inspections: Conduct inspections on product post-sterilisation cycle.
- Review Device History Records: Review device history records in line with Batch Release procedures.
- Maintain GMP Practices: Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards including gowning correctly and adhering to relevant line clearance procedures.
- Highlight Potential Issues: Highlight potential issues to Team Leaders.
- Contribute to KPI Targets: Contribute to attainment of overall Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for the QC group.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment or QC inspection role.
- Medical Devices Knowledge: Previous experience in medical devices is advantageous.
- Effective Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexible Working Hours: Some flexibility regarding working hours and days.
- Business Travel: Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
