Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Engineer to join our team in Limerick. As a Senior Energy Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Your key responsibilities will include helping clients achieve their energy objectives and targets, identifying and implementing energy-saving opportunities, preparing detailed energy reports, and carrying out energy surveys and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.">
  • Conduct energy surveys and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement energy-saving measures.">
  • Prepare detailed energy reports and presentations for clients and management.">
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency plans to help clients achieve their energy targets.">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest energy efficiency technologies and best practices.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A Level 7+ degree in Energy Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, etc.).">
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Building Services/Sustainable Energy industry.">
  • A solid understanding of energy consumption calculations, ModelIT, ApacheSim, CIBSE Loads, MacroFlo, and Radiance IES.">
  • Knowledge of AUTOCAD and REVIT is a plus.">
  • Strong communication and project management skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
