Payroll Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage end-to-end payroll processes, including ownership and driving employee life-cycle tasks.

 

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and driving employee life-cycle processes, including payroll, on-boarding, off-boarding, data management, time and attendance, and other transactional tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of 4 payrolls, including weekly and monthly payrolls with approximately 400 and 300 employees respectively.
  • Carrying out each payroll process to ensure all payments have been properly processed and appropriate taxes/deductions withheld as scheduled.
  • Managing payroll queries and related documents.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures that govern time collection, payroll processing, and taxation.
  • Ensuring compliance with company benefit policies, enforcing approved pay practices, and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Administering relevant benefits, such as pension and health insurance.

 

Requirements:
  • Degree qualification with 3+ years of payroll experience managing a high volume of transactions.
  • Ability to work on own initiative to drive timely completion of payrolls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a right first-time mindset.
  • Proven track record of managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process driven with strong understanding of payroll and HR processes, policies, and systems.
  • Intermediate level MS Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
