Senior Systems Development Engineer Job Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Development Engineer to spearhead our AWS European Sovereign Cloud initiative. As part of our Managed Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading operations and development teams dedicated to delivering high-availability AWS services for EU customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the launch of the ESC working closely with global AWS teams.
  • Influence the evolution of AWS services and technology.
  • Collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Candidate must be a national of an EU member state and residing in the EU to operate the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
  • Employees will participate in an On-Call rota.
