Job Brief:

This role involves coordinating logistics support to ensure seamless freight order management.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve high volumes of freight orders impacted by IT system discrepancies or operational issues
  • Collaborate with shipping hubs, sources of supply, and customer service teams to track shipments and resolve issues
  • Monitor shipment status and accuracy, escalating issues as necessary to maintain timely delivery and accurate reporting
  • Identify and mitigate bottlenecks or delays, ensuring effective issue resolution and communication
  • Maintain detailed records of communications, shipment status, and resolutions using Excel and internal systems

Key Qualifications:

  • Understanding of transportation and logistics principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP or freight management systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot IT-related order issues independently
  • Prior experience in international shipping or multi-modal logistics a plus
