Key Responsibilities
  • Assess IT risks and controls, including general controls environment and automated controls embedded within information systems environments as part of an advisory engagement.
  • Evaluate information systems and controls to ensure they are operating to optimal effect.
  • Ensure the reliability of information through IT risk assessment, benchmarking, and due diligence.
  • Advise on conversion issues and project management risks and controls during system implementation and conversion.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, varying in size, scope, and complexity.
  • Develop and manage engagements and project plans to uphold engagement profitability.
  • Lead and review the work of junior team members at various stages of the audit cycle.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working within audit as an External Auditor, IT Auditor, or IT Risk & Assurance with Financial Services exposure.
  • Experience in information Systems Audit with IT Security expertise highly advantageous.
  • Currently working at Manager level within an accountancy practice firm or financial services institution, ideally.
  • CISA/CIA/CA/ACCA/ACA or other equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in data analytics for audit purposes; CAATs are highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
