Job Description

The role of an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer is pivotal in ensuring the organisation adheres to its anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism responsibilities. This position involves spearheading best practices in the implementation of AML measures and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve compliance objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage internal reporting systems to ensure timely and accurate submissions to regulatory bodies, thereby fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and facilitate effective communication, guaranteeing seamless coordination across teams.
  • Analyse data and produce insightful reports on anti-money laundering compliance, identifying areas for improvement and driving strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate the development of policies and procedures to support AML/CFT initiatives, promoting a robust and compliant framework.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar AML or compliance role, demonstrating expertise and a deep understanding of industry regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient task management and prioritisation.
  • Proven experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and communicating effectively with professionals, showcasing excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in various IT systems, particularly database systems, facilitating streamlined data management and analysis.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in a legal or compliance-related area, providing a solid foundation for navigating complex regulatory environments.
  • Operational knowledge of goAML reporting portal, enhancing your ability to navigate and leverage relevant tools and resources.
