The Resident Well-being Facilitator at Emeis Nursing Home is a full-time permanent position that requires a skilled professional to design, implement, and evaluate social programmes aimed at enhancing the well-being of our residents. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create an environment that fosters social interaction, creativity, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine resident social activity preferences through assessment and planning.
  • Coordinate daily social activity programmes, working closely with external providers to ensure high-quality experiences.
  • Motivate care staff to become active participants in programme delivery, promoting a sense of teamwork and ownership.
  • Communicate regularly with nursing staff regarding resident well-being and participation in activities.
  • Nurture positive relationships with residents' families and friends, as appropriate.
  • Cultivate a culture of inclusivity among staff, ensuring awareness of planned activities.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers, fostering professional relationships.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in social activity programmes for older adults.
  • Liaise with the Director of Nursing to organize annual outings, promoting resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Participate in management meetings as requested, contributing to the overall success of the nursing home.
