Lead Educator Position

We are seeking an experienced preschool educator to lead our classrooms and provide high-quality education and care to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure classroom compliance with regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Create a welcoming environment for children, parents, and visitors.
  • Maintain attractive displays and an informative Parent Board.
  • Develop thorough, timely lesson plans aligned with weekly themes and curriculum; manage effective transitions.
  • Supervise children during activities; counsel as needed using positive discipline techniques.
  • Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the classroom.
  • Accurately complete classroom paperwork, including Daily Reports, accident reports, and attendance records.
  • Provide support and direction to assistant teachers to ensure a well-functioning classroom.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, addressing concerns in a timely manner and providing regular updates on their child's development.
Required Qualifications
  • A.A. degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies, or a similar field.
  • 1-3 years experience working with preschool-age children.
