We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Social Care Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to live full and satisfying lives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Foster independence and personal growth through facilitated decision-making.
  • Support daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health, and appearance.
  • Deliver person-centred care by working closely with individuals to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Administer prescribed medication in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and key worker responsibilities.
Key Requirements:
  • QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of a full Irish driving license.
  • Relevant experience in social care or healthcare settings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HIQA standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.
