Lead Clinical Innovator & Strategist

We are seeking a skilled and innovative professional to join our team as a Lead Clinical Innovator & Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving clinical growth and ideation pipeline end-to-end, partnering with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • You will develop a clinical pipeline to deliver upon growth and affordability outcomes that directly contribute to enterprise-level medical cost savings goals.
  • Effectively drive initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and timely delivery of value and tracked/realized returns.
  • Work within the client governance framework (compliance, regulatory, ethical) to ensure timely approvals and deployment to achieve planned affordability.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and influence to serve as a strategic connector across operations, analytics, concept research & development, technology, and clinical teams to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in leading ideas and project implementation, as well as a proven track record in driving change management and identifying and driving ideation.

As a skilled innovator and strategist, you will be able to break down complex problems into individual root causes and provide solutions to drive business outcomes.

In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain understanding of numerous client protocol & governance processes.

This is a leadership role based in Ireland, and you will be responsible for supporting and driving incremental savings (pre- and post-pay) via various claim data and trend analysis, and partnerships with analytics, competitive intelligence, concept research, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Change Management, Strategy, or a related field, with equivalent experience in the US healthcare industry, major healthcare entities, member/eligibility, and claims lifecycle.

You will also have experience with payment integrity business, health technology, or healthcare financial services, with advanced level proficiency in Microsoft products and claim life cycle, as well as knowledge of clinical processes and application within UHG.
