Electrical Expert Sought for Key Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned electrical professional with commissioning expertise. The successful candidate will be based in Cork and have a proven track record of 5-10 years in the industrial sector, specifically within Water and Wastewater treatment industry or contracting.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of electrical control systems, including installation, commissioning, and testing. They will also have strong design and supervision skills, particularly in relation to Water and Wastewater pumping and treatment installations with instrumentation and controls.

Key competencies and skills include:

  • A minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship work experience within Water or Wastewater treatment industry or contracting
  • Excellent understanding of PLC based automation and SCADA Systems
  • Good electrical fault finding skills
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and general automation

Required qualifications include RECI certification as an Electrician, with a full EU driving licence necessary for this role.
