Lead AMS Layout Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AMS/RF Layout Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.

  • Work collaboratively with Analog/RF Design Engineers to develop and optimize complex RF and mixed-signal blocks.
  • Produce high-quality RF/Analog systems using industry best practices for layout and physical verification.
  • Take ownership of top-level/SOC design and block-level design, as well as full top-level floor planning.
  • Detailed verification and debug from block level to top level.
  • Lead and document layout design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver next-generation products from concept to volume production.
- Work together with other engineers in the RF/Analog design team to ensure designs meet specifications and are delivered on time.
- Mentor junior layout engineers and guide layout contractors.
- Drive continuous productivity improvements through improved work methodologies, efficient tool use, and good documentation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- Detailed experience of analog/mixed-signal layout on advanced CMOS nodes (40nm and lower).
- Excellent working knowledge of the Cadence Virtuoso suite and Calibre verification tools.
- Strong analytical and debug skills.
- Experience with high-frequency RF designs.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience writing Skill code.
