About the Role:
In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to take on a challenging and rewarding role as an automation infrastructure specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining cutting-edge automation-based systems and solutions that provide flexible, innovative, cost-effective, compliant, and quality-focused manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.
You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, configure, program, and qualify Rockwell FactoryTalk systems (DCS), ThinManager, and Asset Centre. Your expertise in protocols such as OPC, UPC-UA, MQTT, TCP/IP, and HTTP will be instrumental in ensuring seamless communication between systems and applications.
Your responsibilities will also include monitoring, alerting, and responding to network, system, and application issues that may impact functionality and availability. You will provide technical knowledge, support for troubleshooting, investigations, installations, and training to ensure that our automation systems are running at optimal levels.
In addition, you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end data solutions to meet our current and future needs. This will involve facilitating the smooth transition of projects from development into production environments, overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to new applications, and acting as a subject matter expert for historian and data integration solutions.
You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance and optimization of automation systems, creating, modifying, and maintaining automation systems and documentation, including automation specification documents and SOPs. Working closely with our corporate IT infrastructure team, you will ensure continued technical alignment and manage support for manufacturing dependencies and touchpoints with enterprise systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience in automation infrastructure engineering
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell FactoryTalk systems (DCS), ThinManager, and Asset Centre
- Expertise in protocols such as OPC, UPC-UA, MQTT, TCP/IP, and HTTP
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
