Meaningful Activities Facilitator

We are seeking a compassionate Senior Activity Coordinator to join our care home. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with residents, staff, and Nurse Managers to create a stimulating and engaging activity program that enhances the quality of life for each resident.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a schedule of in-house entertainment, outings, and group activities that cater to residents' needs and interests. You will work collaboratively with the Nurse Managers, staff, and residents to ensure activities align with their goals and preferences.

• Design and implement a schedule of in-house entertainment, outings, and group activities that cater to residents' needs and interests.
• Work collaboratively with the Nurse Managers, staff, and residents to ensure activities align with their goals and preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities and events.
• Provide individual engagement activities for residents who prefer not to participate in group settings.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and visitors, working both independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved or working towards).
• Experience working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
• Knowledge of Care of the Elderly Patients Charter of Rights.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
