As a Senior Trust and Safety Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and mitigating user trust risks in Search through automated and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement domain knowledge in Search infrastructure, ranking signals, and products.
- Investigate and analyze patterns of badness and abuse on Google Search, utilizing data-motivated insights to develop countermeasures and enhance platform security.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Policy, and Legal, to develop and implement robust solutions that enhance search quality and user trust.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
- Experience with using Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience in prompt engineering and applying Large Language Models for data labeling.
- Experience working on product analysis and identifying user harm risks.
Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. You use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads.
In this role, you will work to discover, measure, and mitigate user trust risks in Search through automated and scalable solutions, including working on Search results and various Search features, with a focus on spam and harmful content.
Our aim is to resolve problems at scale by working with engineers on automated product protections, prompt-based Large Language Model solutions, or through vendor support.
