Job Description:

The Senior Technical Program Manager will ensure the deliverables and release for software for SiriusXM Automotive marketplace. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Aligning development roadmaps for multiple software programs or sections of automotive software to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Providing input to the Software Technical Program Management leadership and other TPM's promoting transparency and accountability to drive success.
  3. Negotiating and resolving conflicts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  4. Solving complex problems by leveraging innovative thinking and creativity to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  5. Collaborating closely with the engineering team to develop contingency plans addressing unforeseen challenges and obstacles.
  6. Prioritizing customer needs without compromising program milestones.
  7. Ensuring Software Development schedules are closely integrated into the SXM new product development process.
  8. Working with customers on the integration of our technology into their systems.

Key qualifications include:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience with 5+ years of expertise in software programs and project management involving embedded, real-time software for automotive and consumer electronic products.
  2. Experience with Agile methodology, including Kanban. SAFe knowledge and certification is desirable.
  3. Minimum 4 years of experience in software process improvement initiatives and extensive experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle with Automotive Programs.
  4. Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel; experience with Python or other programming languages would be an advantage.
  5. Familiarity in one or more of the following areas: Android, AAOS, Linux Consumer Streaming applications, Automotive audio and infotainment products.
