Technical Calibration Specialist

The Calibration Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of automated equipment, thereby contributing to the achievement of test operational goals. To fulfill this responsibility, the incumbent will work closely with various teams to resolve issues and constraints, while implementing safe and efficient solutions to improve overall productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of calibration data, equipment history, and maintenance logs
- Perform calibration and repair of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic test and measurement equipment according to established procedures and standards
- Manage and maintain calibration standards and reference equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform necessary repairs or adjustments, and ensure all calibration activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or technical certification in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Calibration Technician, preferably in a medical device or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of calibration principles, techniques, and standards
- Proficiency in using calibration software and equipment
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), and other relevant standards
