About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to join our board of trustees. The ideal candidate will have expertise in strategic philanthropy, public funding, corporate partnerships, and event-based fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to advance our organization's profile.\
  • Assist with grant applications and explore opportunities for financial support.\
  • Provide guidance on community-based fundraising initiatives.\
  • BUILD STRONG DONOR RELATIONSHIPS, ENGAGE WITH STAKEHOLDERS, AND FOSTER PARTNERSHIPS TO SECURE SUSTAINABLE FUNDING SOURCES.\

Board Member Commitments

\

All board members are expected to possess a deep understanding of the non-profit sector in Ireland and be familiar with corporate governance requirements and relevant legislation.

\

Board members are expected to engage in advocacy activities that align with the organization's best interests and protect its reputation.

\

Meetings are conducted either in Dublin or remotely, with a minimum of four and a maximum of six board meetings held annually.
