The Role & Responsibilities
  1. Identify and resolve complex automation equipment issues.
  2. Analyze software programs, understand their functionality, and implement modifications as needed.
  3. Integrate MES systems with manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  4. Manage controller networks, OPC connectivity, and historian integration.
  5. Implement LDAP/AD integration for secure equipment access management.
  6. Ensure system development adheres to GAMP 5 and SDLC processes.
  7. Review and prepare design documentation, URS/FDS/CS documents for procurement.
  8. Generate, review, and approve project validation documentation, trial reports, and SOPs.
  9. Develop end-user manuals (SOPs, training aids) and conduct technical training sessions.
  10. Perform technical reviews of SOP updates related to equipment and processes.

Ideal candidates possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Automated Control Systems in a regulated environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a validated environment with strong discipline in change controls.
  • At least 1 year of experience integrating SCADA systems with MES.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document work clearly and concisely.
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to understand and communicate technical documents.
